Fonero.be and FON enable global WIFI in Belgium

Antwerp , May 21, 2007. Fonero.be and FON announced today that they have joined forces to make FON's WiFi hotspots, or FONspots, available everywhere in Belgium. Fonero.be is a new ADSL wireless broadband provider, and by combining their innovative WiFi services with the FON Community, Fonero.be customers and Foneros can easily connect to Internet using WiFi almost anywhere in Belgium.

Thanks to the special Fonero.be / FON product bundle, users will find it easy to get started and manage bandwidth. Fonero.be customers who become members of the FON Community will get free WiFi access to more than 150.000 FONspots worldwide.

Fonero.be's innovative WiFi Hotspot solution is part of a new brand of DSL wireless broadband service. Every single hotspot is created through a combination of a FONspot (by using FON's La Fonera WiFi Router) and Fonero.be's DSL service. This combination is also the safest way for broadband customers to share WiFi and protects the users from fraud and abuse.
