FON:CEO, Martin Varsavsky liest hier auch mit....
Hallo FONeras und FONeros,
unser CEO von FON, Martin Varsavsky, freut sich über interaktive Teilnahme vieler FONeros. Er lässt sich aus seiner direkten Umgebung über die deutschen Bloginhalte, sowie über die Reaktionen der FONeras und FONeros hierauf, stets auf dem Laufenden halten.
Er selbst kann unverzüglich jedoch nur auf englischsprachige bzw. spanische Kommentare antworten.
Insofern wollen wir alle Leserinnen und Leser des deutschsprachigen blogs an dieser Stelle ermuntern, ihre Kommentare hier durchaus auch in englischer bzw. spanischer Sprache zu hinterlassen, wenn sie das können bzw. wollen.
Dies ergibt vielleicht etwas "Babylon", aber das macht nix, vermischt die Nationalitäten und ist eigentlich auch eine ganz FON-typische Situation. Versuchen wir es einfach mal....

I think we should use English only because the majority of Germans from 14 to 60 are able to communicate in English more or less fluently. Spanish is not a language that is taught in every school so I would guess that English ist the most spoken foreign language in Germany, French the second and then Spanish as the third most spoken one. But noone shall be scared to communicate here in English if they cannot do so, perhaps someone at the FON:Germany office should translate important German blog comments (or some volunteer) for our FON:CEO.
I by myself can speak German, English and Latin - although it's a dead language, but I learned it at school instead of French. But hey, English is good enough to communicate with people from all around the world.
