Excite and FON

I'm excited to announce that Excite has invested in FON. The announcement was very well received with excited investors driving Excite's shares up 17.4%. It's great to see the adoption of FON is so widespread that investors are taking notice.

Disclaimer: I was not able to refrain from using the term "excited" repeatedly in this post. My apologies.

Any chance we could get some more info on this? Amount invested, share taken, etc?

Will that mean that Excite's -- like Google's and Skype's -- websites will be accessible from FON routers without logging in?

Alan - I don't have any more details at this time. If I get more I'll share it.

Andreas - I expect we'll be adding Excite to our allowed list of sites accessable to anyone but I haven't confirmed this. Seems logical and I'll be sure to mention it, but I assume someone is already thinking of it!
