FON Featured in the New York Times
FON and founder Martin Varsavsky are featured in a New York Times article. John Markoff does a good job showing the hurdles we've overcome and the ones we still face.

The article sheds little light on Fon's stealth transition from one business model to the next. The article mistakes the number of active hotspots for the number of registered/sold Fon routers, and it seems that Martin considers Aliens to be Foneros.
