New FON Portal Coming!

Below is a preview of some enhancements we’re working on. Currently Foneros have the ability to post a welcome message and links to the webpage of your choice. Anyone within range of your wifi signal can view this without a FON account. A lot of Foneros have requested more features; so we’re adding them. In the next release we’ll expand this to include video clips from Google or YouTube, Google Maps, and photographs from Flickr! Below is a sample screen shot of what’s coming.

Hmmm.. this looks good, too bloody annoyign that you guys didnt decide to create your own forum software, hench so that users dont have to regiser twice, also with the bloggin software, it all could have been intergrated.. and All run by one admin panel :)
Thats what i would have done, also, dotn forget to include RSS feeds of latest news, im subscribed to the blogs to keep that running :P
Love it!

As soon as the login script is not changed, or at least is not modified with some JS even fancier than it is now - keep good work.

Best,
A fonero tired of parsing out URLs from FON HTML

More important - the current FON login/access pages screw up badly on PDA/small screen devices. Is this going to make it worse?

Can you please ensure any enhancement is gracefully scaleable otherwise Bills are going to lose business from anyone who isn't lugging a PC around with them.

Checkout the competition's access pages!

i am using a nokia E serie and it is same problem for pda.
If you want to test your user agent go to:

It is they who decide which friends they most want to surf with. In this way, they enlarge the community with FONspots in sought-after locations.
