I have a few basic questions:

1) If the phone and router are wirelessly connected, why would FON's router need a cradle for the phone? Charging or what?

2) Do you have a specification of the phone? Since you already promised October availability, it is interesting to know if the phone is Skype or UMA compatible. Obviously, they are different technology. right?

3) Your phone looks remarkably similar to my Nokia 6682 http://img.phonescoop.com/img/p/75/684_1.jpg. Not sure if Nokia is FON's partner.

4) This probably doesn't even qualify a concept image of new product.

Great, this will add some new cables from my desk (where the phone probably is) to a functional FON antenna, somewhere high and near a window, probably not where my desk is.
Wifi and wireless tend to cause more instead of less cables in the home.
Or is it just a supersized loader and does one get yet another box containing the router?

The new target date is early 2007. I think February but I'm not positive. I'll get an update and see if there is any new news to post.

is this one allready for sale? it's now may 2007..

are there also other phone wich is working good with fon except the SMC Wi-Fi phone...
