號外！FON Hong Kong 討論區成立！

經過工作小組的努力後，FON 在香港終於成立討論區了！

身處在香港的你, 當你安裝 FON 遇上困難，或是有一些使用 FON 的心得想分享給其他網友時，以前或許你會到台灣的討論區宣洩，但台灣的朋友未必會懂要怎樣回應你。

但現在不同了，因為有香港的 FON 討論區，你可以跟同聲同氣的人大談用 FON 的趣事，歡迎所有對 FON 有興趣的朋友來交流意見和心得！

世界紀錄的 WiFi 距離

你知道現在 WiFi 最遠連接的距離有多遠嗎？

剛剛看到一篇文章，嚇見原來有人會嘗試尋找最遠的 WiFi 距離，而且他還打破了 WiFi 最遠距離紀錄呢！

大部分的 WiFi 訊號其實大概只能到達好幾十米的地方，不過美國的 Ermanno Pietrosemoli 於上星期刷新了新紀錄 － 382 公里！ 他從委內瑞拉的 El Aguila 接駁到 Platillon Mountain，好厲害！

Ki' I 電子相架支援 WiFi 及 You Tube

電子相架已不是甚麼新玩意，不過支援 WiFi 的確實是新嘗試。Ki'I 的 Framework Photo WiFi 內建了 WiFi 功能，除了能夠播放電腦中圖像及視頻，還支援 Youtube 、 Flickr 、 Podcast 及 Widgets。

最好玩的地方是 Ki'I 是 Opensource，發展潛力甚高呢！

Fonero Beta Testers Program

Dear Fonero,

As you have shown interest in participating in the development of the FON Community, we would like you to help us carry out some tests of new products.

If you are interested in being part of this FON Beta Test Team, please send us an e-mail at beta@fon.com before 10 June 2007.

You must meet the following requirements:

- Be over 18 years old
- Be able to read and write in English as all communications related to this program will be in English
- Have a registered FON user name that has been active for at least 6 months
- Have a La Fonera router installed and registered for at least 4 months

If you are chosen to become a member of our Beta Test Team, you will have access to our new products and be able to test them before anybody else and help us improve them with your ideas and feedback.

We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy developing them!
