記者招待開始,傳媒魚貫進場。
活動於4:30pm正式開始,香港的Fonero領袖兼Outblaze的創辦人行政總裁,著名企業家蕭逸發表演說,大家也可以一睹FON獨有的小型無線路由器(router) La Fonera。然後FON的創辦人兼行政總裁Martin Varsavsky透過網絡向香港人介紹Fon的背景,它的全球概念，而亞洲-香港對FON特別重要，因為香港人充分掌握科技,並熱愛WiFi產品;還有解釋FON贏得Google 、 Skype、eBay和其他知名投機資本家重大財政支持的原因。FON的團隊並即場示範服務和解答相關問題。

本來很有衝動想買部Fon Router! 但看了你們的條款後.我馬上打消了這個念頭. Fon的概念本來很好,但來到香港就異化!要客戶提供身份證號碼並記錄在伺服器,無疑是侵犯私隱. 而且信用咭隨時有可能被過數.種種潛在危機,加上不被尊重,很難叫人加入你們的行列.此種的商業模式必然失敗.

The package got an easy-to-read quick installation guide and a CD with some applications.
A very simple, user-friendly website that takes you through the whole process from signing-up, configuring the router, personalizing your access portal, to managing your “day passes” and money earned from sharing your connection.
