Nieuwe FON- software
In samenwerking met de Franse Mandriva-community is een Installation Wizard, DrakFon, gemaakt om Linksys-outers van FON- firmware te voorzien. Je kunt hiermee dus ook linus/bill worden! Voor de mensen zonder compatibele Linksys-/Buffalo- router maar mèt een op Linux gebaseerde distributie is "FonSpot" gelanceerd. Hiermee kun je je Linux en MacOS X met een wireless kaart FON-compliant maken. Het installeert Chillispot, zodat je een server emuleert op de La Fonera.
